The built-in motor turns the ball at about 2.5–3 RPM, spreading reflections throughout the room when it's lit by a spotlight or pinspot. A sturdy plastic core covered in real glass facets gives bright, sharp reflections. The half-ball design sits flat against the ceiling, so it suits spaces where a full mirror ball isn't practical.
