Eventec is pleased to share that MaestroDMX Software Package v1.5 has officially been released. This latest update introduces expanded Art-Net capabilities, enhanced real-time monitoring, improved cue transitions, and workflow refinements designed to make your shows smoother and more reliable than ever.
If you're running MaestroDMX in live production, installations, or programmed show environments, version 1.5 delivers meaningful improvements to both performance and usability.
Key Features in v1.5
Expanded Art-Net Support
MaestroDMX can now send a full universe of DMX data over Art-Net. The new Art-Net output creator allows both manual setup and automatic discovery of Art-Net nodes on the same subnet.
A framedriver selection dropdown has also been added, allowing users to switch between Art-Net and Internal DMX while viewing unpatched fixtures.
Real-Time DMX Channels View
Users can now monitor DMX data being sent to each channel of a universe in real time. Channels are colour-coded and annotated by attribute type, providing clearer visibility and faster troubleshooting.
Fixtures can also be patched and edited directly within the DMX Channels View, streamlining workflow.
Refined Cue Transitions
Cue transitions within a Show now support both In and Out transition times, allowing for smoother and more controlled scene changes.
MIDI & OSC Play-Pause Control
MaestroDMX now supports Play-Pause commands via MIDI and OSC in Show mode.

Workflow & Visual Enhancements
- Snapshot preview indicator in the menu banner
- Improved kick drum icon visibility

- Multi-select functionality for bulk delete/duplicate actions in Show, Stage Patcher, and Fixture Profiles
These updates make programming and managing shows more efficient and intuitive.
Networking & Stability Improvements
- Wi-Fi SSID password is no longer displayed for improved security
- Wi-Fi configuration performance enhancements
- Fixes to network configuration persistence on reboot
Bug Fixes
Version 1.5 addresses several reported issues, including:
- Snapshot clearing when linking gobos or prisms across fixtures
- FX Palette inconsistencies
- Static IP/DHCP settings not saving after reboot
- Live Control badge displaying incorrect status
- Various Control Page and smoothing parameter bugs
Known Issues
As with any software release, there are a few known limitations currently documented, including:
- Infinite cues not auto-playing after non-infinite cues
- DMX output occasionally requiring a power cycle after updates or restores
- Triggers and FX Palettes inactive when a show is stopped or paused
- Minor snapshot and multi-client display inconsistencies
